I have a customer coming tonight to pick up this cake. How can I fix the sides, or hide my flaws. I only have about 30 minutes to fix it so I need something that doesnt take long.

Thanks.

PS I might have already messed up the sides more by trying to fix them. They have have that white look like when you mess with the icing after it sets.

How about doing the "grass" on the sides as well. Not sure what that would look like (probably like a square hill) but the texture would hide the bulging.

I don't think it looks that bad, you did a good job, but if you want to hide your layers, you might have to grass the whole thing. icon_smile.gif

what if I took off the grass border on the bottom and added a red white and blue basketweave (Texas Rangers is his team) and tried to get an edible image of the Texas Rangers to put on each side, or even just the front two sides? Then I could do some other border.

That sounds like a good idea, too!
