I was just asked tonight to do a barn themed birthday cake for a little girl's 5th birthday. She is having her party at a petting zoo /barn type of place so it will be perfect. She wants a red barn and animals. My question is, how do I make it look girly. She is a girly girl and I am just stumped at how to add something to make it for a little girl. She and her sister are used to getting cakes for their birthday as my gift to them so she was very specific that she doesn't want a boy cake. Any thoughts?

Don't know how girly these are, but they're cute:

To make more "girly" replace barn red with pastel pink or lavender. Add flowering vines to side of barn, and add flower collars (leis) to farm animals, and scatter more flowers as appropriate.
