I have been inquiring about opening a buissness in my home. I live in WV. I called today to see what was required. They said it has to be a seperate kitchen. I have to go by the 99 food code. My husband wants to make the back of our house into the kitchen. Iwas wondering what all I was going to need in my kitchen. Can anyone help me?

The inspectors are probably from the County Health Department. There may also be zoning issues. The Health Department should have written rules about food service business that they can give you.

beck30 - I'm from WV too, and was wondering where you found out the information you needed about operating a home business?

I would call them back and ask them where you can find a copy or if they can send a copy to you.
