I want to use the Buttercream Dream frosting on my sons birthday cupcakes, that I have to bring to school at 8am. They will be left out for a few hours and I am concerned that they will need refrigeration. Has anyone left this frosting out? Also how does it taste, it looks like its really yummy!

I use BCD all the time and after I've made the cake...I leave it out in an airtight container for several days. Should I be refrigerating my completed cakes????

I think only if you have a perishable filling or a personal preference to chilled cakes.
