do I need to dowel a two tier..top 6 in botton 8 in? it is travelling a little bit...about 30 min highway....and my husband driving icon_lol.gif

I always dowel tiers, no matter what. and if it is travelling while stacked i think you would want to for sure.

Definitely dowel. Any time you have four or more layers of cake, you must dowel between every 2 layers no matter how small the circumfrence.

thanks for your help ! thumbs_up.gif I did dowel it....I HATE DOWELLING icon_cry.gif it makes me more nervous to do then just leaving the cake and throwing it in the back of a pick up truck! icon_lol.gif
