I saw a recipe for peanut brittle that you make in the microwave and can't find it. I want to try to make some tonight. If you could help me that would be great.

Heres the one I use

1 c. raw peanuts
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white corn syrup
1/8 teas. salt
stir together, cook in microwave 4 min. stir, cook another 4 min.

add:

1 teas. butter
1 teas. vanilla

cook 2 min. more

add:

1 teas. baking soda
stir and pour onto buttered pan (at least 9 X 11)

I love how easy this is, I used to stand and stir and stir and stir and watch the candy thermometer. Not any more. Good luck

thanks so much for your recipe. I am going to make it tomorrow got in late had to chaperone a dance tonight with my daughter. I will let you kow how it turned out tomorrow for sure.
