I am planning on making a Halloweeen cupcake cake like this one:

She says that she used black licorice for the web. The problem is, I can only find black licorice twizzlers, which aren't exactly what I need. Anyone know where I can get licorice like what is in the pic?
Ahhhh yes, jmt, that is what I'm needing. I will look at the mall candy store as fragglerock suggested. That would be quicker than having it shipped. I hope they have it! Thanks for the help!
I have also found them at my local grocery store, drug store, gas station, or truck stops. Twizlers makes black licorice laces that I see in all of these places.
I have looked all over Omaha for the black laces, with no luck! Grocery stores, specialty candy stores, gas stations...no luck. RED laces, yes. BLACK laces, no. It is so frustrating! I hope you have better luck than me.
i also had trouble finding black laces back in august for my son's birthday. i found red also, but no black. and i KNOW they exist, so it's weird that they aren't as plentiful. although, i hate black licorice myself, so maybe it's not as popular??? anyway, good luck in your search!
