I go to the local bakery and charge5, 10 or 15 mores depending on the cake.

yeah, cake decorating is a subjective thing, isn't it? like art..some people will pay, others won't. thanks for the info regarding cindacakes. i'll have to play by ear, coz where i'm from, there aren't many shops doing tiered birthday cakes.
