What Is Luster Dust??

Is it the same as the wilton shimmer dust? Is this what is used on those cool ornament cakes? I want to get that shimmery look but I don't know how to do it, any tips?

"BEWARE" luster dust is just as addicting as this site...

Once you start using it, thats it, your addicted....

Shimmer dust is NOT the same as luster dust--especially if you are talking Wilton shimmer dust. Wilton shimmer dust you can sprinkle on BC iced cakes. For fondant, spritz a little water where you want the shimmer dust to go and then sprinkle it on. Pretty much that is all you can do. Wilton Shimmer dust does NOT mix with clear extracts or alcohol like you can with luster dusts.
