I just made a cake for my parent's anniversary with poinsettias. I would have loved to have made holly leaves but I just couldn't figure out how to make them. I ended up making fondant leaves instead. Any ideas or tutorials? My picture of my cake is in my pics. I would like to make another smaller cake for Christmas with holly leaves. Thanks

your cake is really beautiful! Just google holly leaves and chose images and you'll see a bunch to copy from!

That is a lovely cake! I'm sure your parents were thrilled with it! I use tip 352 (leaf) to pipe holly leaves. Just jiggle the tip forward and backward while piping to create the pointy edges. If you look at the reindeer cookies in my gallery, you can see the piped holly on the reindeer's antlers. (I used a smaller version of 352 for the cookies)
