a 3D birthday burro wearing a sombrero and a poncho.

he could be sitting on his hindquarters.

"i'm not movin until I get cake!"

add a 3D cactus that holds the happy b-day banner w/ the child's name.

could even add one of those noisemaker you blow on at a party.

or could have a second cactus and it's holding a piñata and the burro is hold a stick in it's mouth trying to hit it?

oooo...

instead of banner ---

a string of chili peppers between the arms of one cactus or between two cacti --- with one letter of the message on each pepper.

Boy, Doug lost me at "3D burro wearing a poncho and sombrero".

I was going to say pinata?

How old is the little girl? If really young you could maybe do Dora, dressed in a Mexican themed dress and those big paper looking flowers and the those mexican shaker things...Have the cake board look like a mexican blanket...Maybe write happy birthday in spanish...

Oh Doug you are good! You could actually do that pretty easy if you start with the Wilton 3D Bear pan and make RK legs and ears!

burro...the Spanish name for a donkey!

and if she wants a Mickey theme -- well, instead of a sombrero, a micky mouse ears hat...

or mickey could be the piñata.

and if want to work in Dora....have her riding the burro, or feeding it or something

Doug,
When I read your first suggestions I read it as "burro knitting on his hindquarters." It made more sense the second time I read it. icon_biggrin.gif

OK, it's really late here and I have insomnia tonight (that's my story and I'm sticking to it.)
