I have been dying to make a cake like this, I finally got my chance and just wanted to share it with everyone. Jenny "karmicflower" gave me my inspiration with one of her cakes. She was so helpful. Please give me and comments you may have (good or bad). This is for a good friend of mine who is in the hospital as I type being induced. She wanted a "birthday" cake for the baby. I hope you all like it. Also what would you charge for a cake like this?? I am giving it to her for a gift. It is 6" and 8" double layered cake with white buttercream. Then covered in fondant with fondant and RI accents. Thanks in advance!!

Very cute job and I know she's thrilled! I had just finished my first Wilton class when my nephew was born - he's now 17! - but I was so excited. I had bought the teddy bear pan so I made a teddy bear cake and put a diaper on it. So I completely understand. It was so simple but probably the cake I have the most fond memories of.
