I did a Santa CCC today and was asked for instructions. I want to give credit to the Cakerator because the design is hers and she graciously gave me permission to copy it. Here is a pic of my finished cake and a diagram of how I arranged my 24 cupcakes. I frosted the face cupcakes smooth and then used a 1M tip for the beard and hat and pom-pom on the hat. I used the 1M tip also for the white trim on the hat and the mustache. I piped the eyes and nose using a round tip (#12).

ohhh that's too cute! I'm making a ccc tomorrow, and still up in the air to which I watn to do. It's either gonna be a Santa, tree, or wreath, but I'm leaning more towards ol' St. Nick or the tree. It's for a bowling league. Great job on Santa..now maybe he'll bring ya somehting GREAT!!

That's awesome! I am making a CCC for my DH's kindergarten party next week! I was going to do a snowman, but now, maybe a Santa!

I was asked to do a cake for the children't ministry at church next week, but couldn't decide what to do. Had thought of a CCC, but hadn't come up with a design. Have now!

Thanks!!

Thanks for the template. I am making one for my niece's Christmas party and I couldn't figure out how to place them.

Can you tell me what program you used to create your template? I think it would help with all the other cupcake cakes that I need to do this holiday season.

Thanks,
Cecilia

You did a super job on this, it looks great. Now I want to try it myself (actually, just a large bite would do for now!)

Thanks for posting the info, really helpful.

Okay I know this is a silly question, but when making a CCC do you leave the cupcakes in their wrappers?

I love it! It's really fabulous.

I'm a newbie and I have a question about the face.

How did you get those four face cupcakes to all look like one area?

I can't see a cupcake at all!

Thanks for all the nice comments. To answer a couple questions:
1. I didn't use a template for the CCC diagram, just drew it. 2. For the face I just frosted the topr of the cupcakes smooth. There are several forum posts about CCC's if you just do a search you'll find it. 3. Leave the cupcakes in their liners.
