Bulging in generally from too much filling. Use an icing dam around the edge of the cake, and a smaller amount of filling. Press down on the layers before you put on the icing.

Crookied- are you leveling each layer before you stack them? most layers need to be leveled at least a little.

What icing recipe are you using? is the cake warm?

I have tried several times to upload the 'clipart' pic but does not work???
I guess I will not be getting this cake..I gave her the price and didn't call me back..maybe it was too expensive...I charged for 150 people $650.00 . Was that too much for a shower??

OKay,...icing...I bake cakes, cut/level and then let cool for a long time before icing. Would the icing consistency play a role on this??
I have baked cakes before that were 'normal'! ?? Maybe on my first layer I am icing too much plus icing too thin??

Also, I hve placed a dam, filling and then into fridge with 3 cans of beans ontop to stop bulging but nothing! lol
What's wrong with me??

Ah? By the way...thank you for all your guys help! Will try pic one more time
Nop, keep on saying that "the extention bmp is not allowed'?? Sorry
