4 Inch Sqare Cake

I am in search of the the correct batter amount and servings of a 2 layer 4 inch square cake yields. everything i can find start with 6inches. anyone have any info?

Hrm. Do you use mixes? I know 1 box = 2 2 layer, 4" square cakes.

As for servings.. what size do you make your cuts? I'd think the math would be easy, or just draw out a 4" square and divvy it up on paper

Bake an 8" square, which takes one mix (+/-), then cut it in quarters. You will get two 4" 2-layer cakes.

8 servings (1x2x4). batter amount....i've done it before but cant remember. sorry!

2 cups. http://allrecipes.com/HowTo/Cake-Pan-Size-Conversions/Detail.aspx for a 4" square pan. (an 8" square pan takes 8 cups. devide that by 4)
