Do cake balls need to be kept cold? I had a request for them, but they would be out all day and I don't want anyone getting sick! Thanks!

I guess it would depend on what u used for the "binder". But probably the main reason to keep em chilled is for the chocolate u use on the outside. if they're warm im thinking it'd get pretty messy. but dont worry.. they'll go SO fast you wotn have to worry bout em melting!

I've left out cake balls for days... believe it or not lol and they were still good. The ones I left out had coffee creamer in them as the binder and no one got sick. They didn't taste funny either lol. They did go rather quickly but they did set out for a few hours maybe 8 hours all together... maybe more lol. But they were fine icon_smile.gif I wouldn't set them anywhere where the heat would melt the chocolate... but like she said... they won't be around long icon_wink.gif
