Hi everyone,

I have some extra strawberry filling that I made exactly 2 weeks ago. It is just frozen strawberries, water, sugar, cornstarch. Do you think this is still good to use. If not, I have run out of strawberries and will have to run all the way to the store still tonight to make some more as my cake awaiting the filling has been sitting out too long already..... icon_sad.gif

Personally I would toss it and start fresh if it has been in the refrigerator for 2 weeks. If you made the filling fresh then immediately put the extra in the freezer and it has been frozen for the last 2 weeks then yes I would use it, providing you had it stored correctly to prevent freezer burn etc.

I vote to toss it, too.
