I baked lemon pound cake-2-10" layers for my BF's birthday on Wednesday. I plan to fill and decorate tomorrow with lemon cream cheese filling and lemon frosting, which I already made and refrigerated. Should I freeze the cakes overnight before I fill and decorate tomorrow evening or just wrap them tightly?

You can do either. I think they are easier to work with when they are frozen, but as long as you wrap them they will still be fresh.
