Hi everyone,

I want to know if anyone can share a reliable cupcake recipe that I can double or even triple to make a big volume of cupcakes?

I only bake from scratch.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Karen

Here's one that's "half-scratch" icon_lol.gif : http://www.cakecentral.com/cake_recipe-1977-0-Cake-Mix-extender.html

It calls for a box of cake mix but all the add-ins gives it a homemade taste and texture. I've gotten many many compliments every time I make it.

Someone on this site recommended to use Jiffy Cake Mix. I tried this with a boxed yellow cake mix and a box of Jiffy. The cake was super delicious. Just make the Jiffy cake according to the directions on the box. Yummy!!!!!

same thing with me about the extender recipe on this site..i use it all the time, it gives me the density and texture of a scratch cake that i want..but i cut the sugar in half when i am making a chocolate cake.. thumbs_up.gif

Thanks,

goof9j, I don't think I can get Jiffy Cake mix here. Thanks anyway.

Marj, it's nice to hear someone else has used the recipe on CC, thanks
