How To Store A Mmf Covered Cake

Ok I am doing a cake covered in MMF and then going to decorate it.....I want to do this friday night for party on sat morning....how can I store this...I know I can put in fridge.....If I just leave on counter will it fade or get either wet or dry due to the warmness of my house...we have it at or around 74 degrees at night...I just dont know if I will have time in the am with the party and getting 2 kids ready..thanks
