I don't know if anyone has tried this, but I just discovered this for myself. I was in a HUGE hurry and needed chocolate buttercream ASAP! I had some plain white buttercream in the freezer. I was out of cocoa so I added hersheys syrup and it was really good. It had a great flavor and and still crusted. thought I'd share
Thanks for sharing I'm gonna try that next time. Love hershey's syrup and I'm really curious to see how it comes out.
There is a recipe for Chocolate Syrup Frosting in the Recipe Section. Very good with Chocolate Fudge Sauce (like you put on ice cream) as well.
