Ok on NFSC I have unsalted margarine and blue bonnet butter thats 65% veg. oil which one should I use...I have never used this receipe before..thanks

the blue bonnet IS salted.

I would use the margarine. I haven't had much luck in baking with Blue Bonnet. I always look for margarine that is at least 75% veg. oil.

I'm so glad you didn't use the Blue Bonnet!! I was suddenly having a problem with my NFSC failing and couldn't figure out why. My fellow CCers told me it was the Blue Bonnet. Went back to Imperial and cookies haven't failed! Save the Blue Bonnet for your BC icon_smile.gif

I love the taste of these.....hubby does to, every time I turn around I fing him in the kitchen trying to get one.. LOL!

In Buttercream Icing you dont use real butter?? You use margarine?? I am just asking because I use real butter and then in the fridge the icing gets rock hard and I never thought of using margarine. Does it turn out good? I mean taste wise.
