A friend of mine got the Wilton Giant Cupcake Pan as a gift. It didn't come with any directions though. Does anyone know how much batter goes inside? How about what temp and how long to cook it?

I found directions in a recipe on the Wilton site. For anyone else who might need them, if you make this pound cake recipe then you put 4 1/2 cups of batter into the top section of the pan and the rest in the bottom. Then you bake it at 325 for 60-70 minutes.

I have the cupcake pan, be careful,-the bottom part cooks faster and dries out faster than the fuller part.. I've made it 3 times and the last time the thickest part didn't cook completely.. it's cute, but a bit of a pain to deal with.
I also have the giant cupcake pan and agree that it doesn't cook evenly. The last time I made it I put a 2 inch cake pan with water in it under the top part of the cupcake. By this I mean that I sat the pan that is the top part of the cupcake in the 2" pan of water (in case that wasn't clear). This helped it to cook slower and it came out perfectly. The pan is definitely prickly and hard to work with but when it turns out is sure is cute! Good Luck.
