if I pipe chocolate accents on a cake do I still need to temper the real chocoalte?

if you are using real chocolate you always need to temper it.
If it's just accents why don't you use the summer coating?

the flavor of summer coating you can tell is not real chocolate.

But you dont' have to temper it and since you just want to pipe accents with it..I don't think it matters but then again...I'm not you.
and we each prefer what we prefer..lol
