O.K.
I am so stressing here. I have been doing 1-2 cakes a week and all of a sudden...wham!
I got 5 people calling wanting cakes. I am a little overwhelmed. I have only been doing cakes for appx 6 months and feel stressed.
Don't get me wrong. I love doing them and am honored people want me to make their cakes but I feel alot of pressure.
Now, on to my need...
I had a lady ask me if I could do a Georgia Tech Ramblin Wreck Car for her. I will try to upload a pic. And how much I would charge.
Any advice/help would be a huge help.
Thanks,
Amy
Well, as a UGA fan, it would be hard for me to do this cake...hahaha
Just kidding....it looks like an AMAZING cake!!!!!
There are tutorials on here with cars (I think). I tried a Google search, but I kept coming up with the Skoda video....
It looks like you have done some pretty involved cakes....I am sure that you could do this!!!!
Good luck - let us see pictures when you are done!!!!!

This is a great cake! Just curious....who's is it?
It's definitely going to be a LOT of work, but you can do it! It helps me a lot to look at pictures of the real thing when I do 3D cakes like this. I usually take some out of the library for reference. I would charge at least $150 for something like this. Try to keep track of how much time you spend on this cake so you can get an idea of how much you are making per hour. 3D cakes like this take a long time to do!
Good luck. I would love to see pics!

I just found out that this was made by Mark Brickman from Atl GA. He charged 2000.00 for this cake.
Wow.
I don't know if I should even try to duplicate this one.
How much would I charge?
That is the coolest cake I have ever seen- I mean this thing actually looks like it could drive right off the table - but I would never ever pay 2K for cake unless there was a 2K diamond in the center.
