Does anyone know the music piece that was playing? That cake took a lot of fondant. I lost count how many layers was going on. Pretty cool cake though.

it's absolutely amazing, but i always get the creeps when it comes to baby sculpture cakes. if it's a topper fine, but a whole body......isn't that bordering on the canibalistic? is that a word? i once made the babies under the blanket/nursery themed cupcakes for a friend and then almost got too freaked out to give them to her for thinking about biting into them!! lol
maybe it's just a state of mind?

Thanks for sharing the video. The detail was amazing. And she even made the legs and feet that were hidden under the blankets. Wonderful work!

I agree with everyone else - could not eat it. Even thinking about it makes me feel uneasy.

Thanks so much to Dolfin, Deanna, and Mss!! Its a piece of music I hear a lot but I've never known the name or composer. I'm trying to build a better selection of CD's and that is one song I've wanted. So thanks again!

Nope I couldn't eat it either...

I liked how she used several layers of fondant. I didn't know that was an "official" way of doing things. I have used two layers before for details but it was basic.... but that was cool!

Yeah, I thought the use of so many layers of fondant was very interesting. I'm glad it was just for display and not being served (eeewww)! The detail of the hands and feet looked amazing!

Confession: I have no kids, just four nephews, but yet I have purchased the CD to Baby Mozart for my own personal enjoyment. icon_redface.gif
