I show you how to make a miniature rose in this little video. Anyone who knows me well knows that I shy away from flowers always! So this is an easy method that I have used lots of times on anniversary cakes.

Great video. I will definitely try this. I am not much into flowers either. But this seems easy. Thanks a bunch.

Lorraine, you are born to do video tutorials with your wonderful accent. I lived in Edinburgh for many years and hearing you speak just brought back fabulous memories.

Great tutorial, will certainly give this a try. Thank you very much.

If you made it wider and longer, could you get a larger rose, or would there just be to much bulk ? This looks like FUN.... I"m game !

Yes, you can make roses a little bigger using this method. It's entirely up to you the size you end up with. I make fuller roses (hark at me the rose expert! icon_cool.gif ) using a 5 petal cutter which I only started playing with a few months ago. I really don't like making flowers at all although I look on in admiration at anyone who can do them. This little easy rose is about all I have the patience for and thought it might be good to share with those who feel the same. Whatever you are happy with....go with it! thumbs_up.gif

Thank you everyone for your great comments. You can see I had little else to do with my time today! icon_lol.gif
