Does anyone know if you can use luster dust in an airbrush? Or any ideas how to get white fondant "sparkley" after it has already been laid?
I have had a hard time "painting" on luster dust mixed with Vodka.

Thanks!!!!!

Well, If you just want it sparkley you can dry brush the luster dust. Get a big brush like a blush brush and dry brush. And yes you can airbrush luster dust. Just make the consistency that you normally do with the vodka maybe a little thinner and airbrush away!

Good luck!

I am addicted to airbrushing with luster dust!!!!! I do it on pretty much every cake (fondant and bc)because it gives the BEST finish (especially super pearl!) I just mix some luster with vodka, and away I go!!! You can also mix luster in airbrush colors, and thin it down with some vodka if you need to, and that will give the color a sparkly sheen.

FYI...do NOT use sparkle/pixie dust in your airbrush...believe me, it WILL clog it!!!
