Hi Everyone...
I'm in a bit of a rush to complete a cake. I need royal icing decoration.

How can I make royal icing dry faster.

Thanks, Kat

I'm not sure you can rush royal - maybe putting it under a fan would help?

Lay it out under an anglepoise lamp, or in the oven (not turned on!) with the oven light on.
It will speed up the drying a bit, but, as beachcakes said, you really can't rush royal.

I read about someone using a hair dryer to dry the stingwork before it started falling off the cake. Good luck. Aggie
