do i need to warm the icng before dipping my petitefores. what do i use to cut the squares .

Are you making the petit fours in a jelly roll pan? You can just cut them with a knife in the pan if you are making them square. If you want different shapes you could use miniature cookie cutters. You can make a poured icing to put on them.
