I have to make a groom's cake and have been asked to make as a hand gun since the groom is a police officer. Any one have suggestions on how to do this? I'm at a loss. icon_cry.gif

I would try to find a mold and mold it out of chocolate to lay on top of the cake.

Are they providing you with a picture of the gun? I belive that some guns used by police are very boxy - which would be easy to carve out of a sheet cake. But, if it's a long slender gun - that might be harder - then I would agree with peg818 - try a mold and put it on top of a cop themed cake.

Thanks so much for the input. I have found a chocolate mold for a gun, badge, and handcuffs. I think I'm going to put these on top. Sound good????
