Has anyone tried the Cake Doctor's recipe "Melted Ice Cream" cake? She suggests using Ben & Jerry's melted Cherry Garcia ice cream. I'm wondering how it tastes and if it's moist?? What are other interesting flavors??

I've tried it twice:

white cake w/vanilla bean ice cream
strawberry cake w/strawberry ice cream

and they were awesome! So moist and yummy!! I'll definitely make them again!! I used Bryer's ice cream...I love that ice cream, it's very creamy and flavorful!

I tried it once, white cake with Cherry Garcia. I put chopped bing cherries in the filling and iced it with milk chocolate icing. It was delicious.
