I made my first duck and hunter figures last night. Is there a tutorial somewhere that shows how it is done correctly?
Lots of CC members recommend getting clay sculpting books from the craft section for scuplty(think that is spelled right) clay. Same techniques, but a different medium. So maybe you can find some luck there. I know there are also websites out there for it too, if you google you might get lucky=) GL, Jen
Aine2 has some awesome tutorials on figure sculpting. I followed a video she made on fondant faces and it was so helpful. She is amazing. She also has some tutorials that she sells here which you can see now on the right hand side of the page - Bear Hugs is one of hers. She is amazing. Here is a link to the fondant faces tutorial that I used:

Thanks so much!! I enjoyed the tutorial. It helps quite a bit. Does everyone use the playdough gun for this? I see she is using a "sugar" gun.
I bought a "Makin's" brand clay gun at Michael's and I love it. I believe it was $25 - $30 and if you have access to Michael's it is a good item to use a 40% discount coupon on. Here is the one I have:
