Hi everyone,

I want to put together a two tiered fairy cake. I'm envisioning a little fairy sitting on the top with her legs over the edges. I'm also envisioning a tree that is much taller than her with leaves dangling from it.

Has anyone seen this sort of thing before? I know I have, but it was just a photo, no directions.

Thanks!

your design idea sounds awesome!!!

to make a tree ... you could use rice krispies or foam as the base/ inside of the trunk, then wire the branches into this then cover with 50/50 gumpaste/ fondant and shape wire/branches whilst fondant is still wet..... you could then pipe foliage/leaves to the ends of branches....

I have made a tree stump/trunk without leaves....if you wanted to do this you could have little creatures poking their heads out of some hollow branches..... my tree is in my pics
