Help! Can't Get My Gumpaste Ball Smooth!

icon_evil.giftapedshut.gificon_evil.gificon_mad.gif . I am swearing like I sailor! I cannot for the life of me get the wrinkles and creases out of my gumpaste ball. Everytime I think I've got it. . .A big ole' crevice, crack, whatever. I have never had this problemo. Any pointers??????? Help Ole' Elle out, will ya?

wrap it tight and let it sit overnight is all I can think of if it's the right consistency.

try using some crisco to smooth out the cracks. icon_lol.gif

Hi
I use very thick cello. the type that they make x-rays out of. I find it really good for smoothing odd shaped cakes.
