Oh i'm so excited!! Dh was going to buy me a KA mixer for my birthday,. we saw the Artisian on sale last week at Kohl's, but it was only for 1 day. 
so i got discourgaged, because there was no way we could afford $300 for a mixer. Then i saw the 20% off coupon for Linen and Thing's this week so i checked out their website. I saw that they also had the artisian and it was on sale for $199! So i went to the store with the intention of buying that one.
But i walked in and saw they had the Professional 600 on CLEARANCE!! It was a floor model, so no box, but what do i need a box for?? 50% off of their $399 price, PLUS my 20% coupon!! It was $169!!! OMG I'm so excited!! It's like the buy of the century! Kitchenaid.com lists it at $499!! I can't wait to make something now!!

I love my KA! I could not live without it now that I have one. It does what ever I need it to do.....hmmmmm.....I wonder does KA make husbands? lol
Congratulations!!!! I got a Pro600 last week and I just used it Saturday for the first time. It is a very nice mixer and I am sure you will enjoy yours.
I posted this somewhere else and I don't know if anyone is interested but I will post again. I don't bake for the public and sometimes I need a smaller bowl. There is a Combi-Whip available only at Williams Sonoma that is great. It is a 3 quart bowl and has a special whip attachment. This is great for egg whites or one box of cake mix.
