Ok, I've finally found the creme bouquet flavoring, but now what to do with it? Do I use it in cakes or icing?

You can use it in either. I've only used it in frosting (very yummy) and white cake, but I don't see how you couldn't use it for more. icon_biggrin.gif

It's great in cookie dough, too! And cinnamon/sweet bun dough!

Icings and sugar cookie dough. This stuff is soooooooooooo good! I bet you find yourself using this more than vanilla or almond.

I just added some to my basic yellow cake recipe and buttercream frosting. It was fabulous. My entire family raved about the flavor. Hard to exactly describe what the secret ingredient is, but it's delicious. Much better than the stuff smells straight from the bottle! LOL

I found some at a local cake supply store. If you do not have one near you, the Internet would also be an option. The chain craft stores (Hobby Lobby, Michaels) do not usually carry it as far as I can tell with the stores near me.

I buy mine online. Used to use Sugarcraft but if anyone has read the recent threads, you understand why I now need to find some other site...

I have to say that I noticed that the Magic Line version of Creme Bouquet is SO much better than the CK version. It even smells a lot better.

I bought mine online at Cook's Cake and Candy. At that
time it was $9.00 for 16 oz bottle. I love it, and nobody
can figure out what you've used!

I add a tsp to every cake I do. All flavors.
