I would like to try making a purse cake and am wondering how to make a zipper?

I've seen some wonderful purse cakes that look so real........I'm sure someone here can help me?!

I am making my first one this weekend, i have been told to use a press gun and make a strip with a bump on it. like a ribbon with a ridge, you then use an edge and make a zig zag pattern on that bump. put it on your cake and paint it silver or gold with edible dust.

Petal Craft has a zipper mold out now. GSA has it.
