......that it would be tacky to use disposable pans for a teacher appreciation lunch cake?? I have a couple of the Hefty paper pans w/covers. I was thinking it would be easier and faster to use those than to do a whole cake. They only asked for help today and the lunch is Friday. If I could just do the tops of the cakes, it would save a lot of time and powdered sugar....lol.

Go for it!!! If it makes your life easier, I'm sure the teachers will appreciate it any way you present it. Sometimes we just don't have the time to do it perfectly. Besides it's a freebie, right? If they were paying for it, I would say no, but if it's a freebie, then it would be OK. IMHO.

Thanks for the opinions. I really appreciate it. However, the woman in charge really needs paper plates instead....lol. I guess that takes all of the pressure off. icon_twisted.gif
