I could really use some ideas from someone on what to do for a race car (more like hot wheels) baby shower cake. It's for my best friend's first baby shower cake. Her husband is really into pimped out rides with all those flames and wild colors and big wheels. So they decided to do the baby's room in some kind of car theme. Any who if any one could give me some ideas on a cake that would be awesome. I was thinking of doing a two tier cake with a baby on top with a race car. And then doing the two tiers with the black and white checker flag. Not sure how that would look like. PLEASE HELP!!

The black and checkered flag idea sounds god, and maybe instead of the baby in the car, the baby with a racing helmet on? If you can swing it, it'd look really cute. Also, maybe a border on the tiers of tiny flames or wild colors, as you noted the husband was into.
