I am doing 8 dz. number shaped cookies in primary colors for the principal at my kids' school. I'm icing with roayl icing but thought maybe to make the job faster, I'd airbrush them the primary colors and then add white royal icing polka dots. I've never done it before...I'd assume airbrushing on royal icing is ok, right?? I won't end up with it running all over the place, will I?? Thanks!

that will work fine. but if your covering your cookies with RI why notcolor the icing in the first place and save some white for the dots. either way you have to wait for the white or colored RI to dry.

I am thinking the airbrush is not going to mix with the RI?? Like you said it might run! I am thinking the same thing...I have never done it before but, it is a thought. I too think it would just be easier to color the RI and save some for the white dots...Good luck with your cookies!
