You knew it was coming! Ladies and gents... we find ourselves in desperate need of a good theme idea for September. Woah...wait... it can't be September already, can it? Sheesh!! Now... I know where you're going. You're jumping right into 'Back to School', but I am going to veto that idea right off the bat. Not because it's a bad one, but because you are all doing those things already, and I am not happy unless I am a certified pain in your rump!! I want to make you do something else... something special... something only for ME!!! Ok... not for me specifically, but you get my drift!

Anyway... based on my bout with kidney stones this week I considered suggesting a theme such as "Intense freaking pain!", but felt that wouldn't really encompass the good things we try to reflect in our TOTM threads! 
Yep... I'm still on those good meds! You'll be getting a few more days of wicked loopy Melvy!! (She's so much fun at parties!!) 
Ok, so what DO I suggest??? Phooey... shoulda thought about that before starting this thread, eh? Ok... wait, I have a strange idea...(don't forget your asterisks...)

This is a totally vague and general theme, and you could do almost anything with it. Make something to reflect someone/thing you admire. It could be a soldier... a dancer... a three toed sloth... anything that you admire. Or, you could do a scene of someone admiring someone/thing else. You could go in many different directions with this one! That is my suggestion... let's hear what y'all have to add!

Now that is an interesting idea!! You have to make a new version of something already in your photos!! Very creative! That's what I'm talking about. If that doesn't get chosen this month we need to use it in the future!! Great thinking!

My first thought for September was September 11th. Not that that day was a happy occassion needing a cake by any means but there are some awesome cakes posted already in honor of those who were lost that day,
military, firemen, police, etc. Maybe something to honor the troops....
