hi all can any tell me how to make lillies im doing my cousins wedding cake and whe has bought me the bridal lillie set and instructions r not good at all all help welcome lol i need alot thanks vicky

calla lily or oriental lily??

gumpaste , fondant or royal icing using a lily nail

i've never done this but i've read instructions somewhere that if you're making calla lilies with gumpaste or fondant, thatyou can use a heart cookie cutter to form the flower. wrap it around a stamen, curl the edges over a bit (the bottom point of the heart is the top of the bloom) , paint and wrap with a stem.

its just a basic lily bridal lily the cutter set is i have

I have a lily in my photos - is that like the one you want to do? thats a stargazer lily. there are a few different types you can do.
