A high school friend of my DH and I contacted us recently to tell us that he is getting married next month. He asked DH to be his best man, and me to make the cake. So I called the bride to be.
So far, this is what I know:
their colors are pink, white and silver
she wants the wedding cake to be round, 3 tier, and the cakes separated with pillars, not stacked
white cake
buttercream
pink roses and white roses
100-150 servings
they have a topper, so I dont need to worry about that

I need to call and find out the time and place of wedding and reception; if she plans on keeping or serving the top layer; what shade(s) of pink she's using (so that I can coordinate on the cake).

What else do I need to ask her?

You need to get a closer number of servings..Ask her what her budget is for the cake since that will have a bearing on what you do. Does she want any fillings in the cake? Does she want you to serve it ( extra cost) What kind of design does she want or does she want to just leave it up to you. You might want to do up some designs to show her too.
