I have not been doing cakes all that long...and i have had people tell me that my cakes were pretty and all, but i have NEVER gotten a reaction to a cake like i got from this one.

It is so simple but yet people went crazy over it.

I took it to my local Farmers Market this morning, i do this so that people get to see my cakes since im so new to decorating.

My husband took it in and set it down and it didnt even stay for 5 mins...people were just ooooing and ahhing over it....had people coming back asking about it who had seen it when the lady was walking out with it..

It just felt so good to here people talking about something that i did they way that they were that i litterally started blushing... icon_redface.gif

It makes me feel like im doing something right.

so what do yall think?

4 ly ( 2 lys torted ) white cake filled w/ raspberry "fluff" ( jam, cream cheese, coolwhip ) frosted w/ light raspberry flavored ( loranns oils ) BC.

I say pass it through the monitor, please icon_biggrin.gif

I, personally, like these puffy, fluffy, and feminine looking creations.

I saw my first one yesterday, and now another one today.
If it's a TREND, I for one am VERY happy. thumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gifthumbs_up.gif

You cake is exactly what people actually want to eat. It looks like what used to be called a party cake. It looks pretty and tasty without the over kill of most decorated cakes.

I like the simplicity of it. The repetition of any design lends itself to an appreciation of it. Whether doing cornelli lace, swiss dots, basket weave, they all are simple in design but make a bold statement. I will try your rosettes on my next cake since it has inspired me. Great work ! icon_biggrin.gif

I just wanna dive right into it! Oh, my! It looks and sounds Y-U-M-M-Y! You need to make MORE THAN ONE next time! You could make a killing there!

Congratulations! As far as blushing...How cute is that? You sound like a real Sweetie (Pun definitely intended! LOL)
