my cake is in the fridge hopefully firming up so that it won't fall apart. it needs cake prayers!!!! anyway, it is starting to buldge and it looks like the top layer is slipping so i think it has to do with the filling sitting out while i was working on it and getting mushy. (it's preserves and i know i tend to go a little heavy handed on the fillings so it's my own fault if it dies) here is a pic of the poor cake that hopefully will survive until the customer pics it up tomorrow and she'll leave it in the fridge till the birthday dinner friday and it will all be ok but i won't be spending the money for it until i hear it survived till the party. if it does fall apart i at least have time tomorrow to fix it.
