Removing Flowers From A Lily Nail

I'm in Wilton Course 3 Cake Decorating, and we made poinsettas and various other flowers using the lily nail. I was wondering how do you remove the flower from the foil? When I removed mine tonight, all the flowers broke in half! Please help with any suggestions!

Hi CakesByNikki, when i make them I use the thin foil they dry faster and dont break.
