Hi All -
I'm told that there is an ICES chapter here in MA, but I've yet to get in touch with them. There is a very friendly ICES chapter in Connecticut and I've actually attended one of their 2 yearly Day of Sharing events (last April - missed the one in October).

i would also be interested in joining a cake club. i don't really know how they work but it sounds fun!
