I'd like "Specialty Sweets" better. Gives it a more upscale, polished ring.

I like that too, kansaslaura, but that name was taken for a web address. I was trying to find one that could have a matching www..

DH thinks it will be confusing...that people might not think specially is a real word or get it confused with specialty. I don't know. I like it...and the bottom line is that's all that matters when all is said and done. KWIM? Thanks for your input.

specially sweet .tv   .us   .info*  .net*  .org*  .biz
are all available. If you like the name Specialty Sweets and it is available in your local area, I take it. All the good web names are taken so you can also add the word "website or online" to the end of your webpage, ie specialtysweetswebsite.com or specialtysweetsonline.com. Don't give up on a name that you really like.

I don't mean this in a mean way, but to me "Specially" Sweet looks like a word has been spelled wrong.

Off subject, I know, but my DH and I went with our son to shop for a truck. One car lot we went to their sign out front said "Veiw our cars online at www.(whatever their website was)."

What I'm saying is that if you're going into business just make sure you have everything spelled correctly on whatever you're doing.

I don't think it IS a real word. I took it as a shortcut to say "Especially". The name is cute.

I looked in the dictionary and it is a word...the adverb for special. However, I don't think it's often used. And I think it's common to interchange it with especially, so it just seemes like a shortened version of that word.

I am going to brainstorm here. Maybe I can come up with something else.

Thanks again for your input! icon_smile.gif
