Hi all,

I have been going true the forums, and i was wondering, when making a cupcake cake, do i bake the cupcakes in the little paper things? and if so when icing the cake do i take them of.

Or do i just bake them like a normal cake.

Do any one have instructions for me thanks.

Ana

You bake them in the paper things, and only frost the tops of the cupcakes.

i've also seen cupcake cakes where they are just baked without papers, and then lined up on a board and iced over like a full size cake (and then pulled apart for serving).

I used papers and left them on. You will need to "glue" the outer ring of cupcaked to the board using icing to help keep them from sliding around. It works great!
